How the parameter could be sent:

Notes
• If the device password has already been set, and the user would like to
change it, the SMS command:
&CNF tommy001 UNIT PWD=tommy002
has to be sent to the device.
• A SMS message sent to the device without value deletes the current
password (assumed the password has already been set).
6.3.4 RING
Syntax RING=
This parameter is intended for modifying on your own preferences the ring
melody for voice calls.
It chooses the type of ring melody. We have chosen to let you decide
your own preferences when you start using ring melody. You have a
choice of 10 different ring melodies. The ringer melody value
can be set in the range of 0 to 10.
If the value is set to 0, the loudspeaker plays no
melody. If one of following values (1 to 9) is set, then each setting
plays a different melody on the loudspeaker (audio output).
To use the buzzer rather than the loudspeaker, set the value to 10.
How the parameter could be sent:

Notes
• If the ring melody has already been defined, and the user would like to
change it, the SMS command:
&CNF UNIT RING=8
has to be sent to the device.
• A SMS message sent to the device without value deletes the current
value of the ring melody and set it to the factory setting 3.
