I remember that even<strong>in</strong>g whenZahid Efendi <strong>in</strong>vited Wve people and told us that “you are all mendedicated to the cause of protect<strong>in</strong>g and advanc<strong>in</strong>g this nation. Thecore identity [kimlik] and character [ki7ilik] of this wounded nation isIslam. Your ma<strong>in</strong> heritage is Islam and as Muslims you can heal thiswound by listen<strong>in</strong>g to what our Turkish Muslim people want.
