CKP sensor peak voltage: 0.5 V and more(+ Black – - Green)1 Peak volt adaptor 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set Tester knob indication: Voltage ()2V.Is the voltage OK?2YESNO• G/W or G/BI wire open or shorted to ground.• Loose or poor contacts on the CKP sensor coupleror ECM coupler (terminal D or U).• If wire and connection are OK, intermittent troubleor faulty ECM.• Recheck each terminal and wire harness foropen circuit and poor connection.• Replace the ECM with a known good one, andinspect it again.• Inspect that metal particles or foreign materialstuck on the CKP sensor and rotor tip.• If there are no metal particles and foreign material,then replace the CKP sensor with a newone.ECM couplers (Harness side)3) After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.(4-26)
