4-36 FI SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS“C13” (P0105-H/L) IAP SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTIONC13DETECTED CONDITIONIAP sensor voltage is not within the followingrange.0.5 V Sensor voltage < 4.85 VNOTE:Note that atmospheric pressure variesdepending on weather conditions aswell as altitude.Take that into consideration wheninspecting voltage.P0105 HSensor voltage is higher than specifiedvalue.LSensor voltage is lower than specifiedvalue.POSSIBLE CAUSE• Clogged vacuum passage between throttle bodyand IAP sensor.• Air being drawn from vacuum passage betweenthrottle body and IAP sensor.• IAP sensor circuit open or shorted to ground.• IAP sensor malfunction.• ECM malfunction.• IAP sensor circuit open or shorted to VCC orground circuit open.• IAP sensor circuit shorted to ground or VCC circuitopen.IAP sensorECMRB/BrG/BVCCE2IAPINSPECTIONStep 1 (When indicating C13:)1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.2) Lift and support the fuel tank. (5-3)3) Check the IAP sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.If OK, then measure the IAP sensor input voltage.1
