8-12 CHASSISWHEELInstall the front wheel and hand-tighten the front axle temporarily.The directional arrow on the wheel and tire shouldpoint to the wheel rotation, when remounting thewheel.FRONT AXLE• Tighten the front axle with the special tool to the specifiedtorque. 09944-18740: Hexagon socket (19 mm) Front axle: 100 N·m (10.0 kgf-m)NOTE:Before tightening the front axle pinch bolts 1 and cariper moutingbolts, move the front forks up and down four or five times.• Tighten the front axle pinch bolts 1 to the specified torque. Front axle pinch bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)BRAKE CALIPERS• Tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts to the specifiedtorque. Brake caliper mounting bolt: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m)After install the brake calipers, front brake should beefficient by pumping the front brake lever.
