FI SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS 4-43 TP sensor input voltage: 4.5 – 5.5 V(+ Red – - Ground)(+ Red – - B/Br) 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set Tester knob indication: Voltage ()Is the voltage OK?YES Go to Step 2.NO• Loose or poor contacts on the ECM coupler(terminal A or S).• Open or short circuit in the Red wire or B/Brwire.Step 1 (When indicating P0120-H:)1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.2) Lift and support the fuel tank. (5-3)3) Remove the air cleaner box and lift up the throttle body.(5-13)4) Check the TP sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.If OK, then check the TP sensor lead wire continuity.11V5) Disconnect the TP sensor coupler.6) Check the continuity between P/B wire A and Red wire B.If the sound is not heard from the tester, the circuit conditionis OK.1]7) Disconnect the ECM coupler.8) Check the continuity between P/B wire A and terminal 8.9) Also, check the continuity between B/Br wire C and terminalS. TPS lead wire continuity: Continuity () 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set09900-25009: Needle pointed probe set Tester knob indication: Continuity test ()1ECM couplers (Harness side)]Is the continuity OK?YES Go to Step 2.NO P/B wire shorted to VCC, or B/Br wire open10) After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.(4-26)
