Itis noteworthy that many persons, suspecting that they willfind little intelligent sympathy from their doctor, spontaneouslytake their sexual anomalies to their minister,of whatever denomination, for the sake of the relief ofself-confession to one whose function it is to restore andconsole. There is an important field of such psychictherapeutics, apart from religious operation and evenapart from hypnotic and other forms of suggestion, whichlegitimately belongs to the physician, and will be foundpeculiarly helpful in the psychosexual sphere.
