This framework has been applied <strong>in</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>g three concrete outputs <strong>of</strong> the eLene4work<br />

project:<br />

1. A self-evaluation tool assess<strong>in</strong>g students’ s<strong>of</strong>t skills <strong>and</strong> digital s<strong>of</strong>t skills for help<strong>in</strong>g to<br />

identify the needs for improvement, which was developed by tak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>to account, for<br />

each skill, def<strong>in</strong>itions, skill dimensions <strong>and</strong> learn<strong>in</strong>g outcomes from a previous project<br />

(the already mentioned ModEs project) <strong>and</strong> select<strong>in</strong>g the most suitable questions from<br />

pre-exist<strong>in</strong>g questionnaires <strong>and</strong> tools used for s<strong>of</strong>t skill self-assessment <strong>and</strong> selfevaluation.<br />

2. An orientation guide specifically designed for students <strong>and</strong> young workers, to help them<br />

<strong>in</strong> their approach to personal development <strong>in</strong> s<strong>of</strong>t skills <strong>and</strong> digital s<strong>of</strong>t skills <strong>and</strong><br />

cover<strong>in</strong>g:<br />

the transversal skills required by the <strong>in</strong>ternational labour market useful for<br />

mobility <strong>in</strong> European Countries;<br />

<strong>new</strong> ways <strong>of</strong> learn<strong>in</strong>g (the ma<strong>in</strong> differences <strong>in</strong> study<strong>in</strong>g onl<strong>in</strong>e compared to face to<br />

face);<br />

the potential <strong>of</strong> MOOCs: <strong>in</strong>formation about their classification, how they are<br />

organised, how to participate etc.;<br />

how to optimise participation <strong>in</strong> MOOCs, to get the best out <strong>of</strong> this experience;<br />

what they need to know, <strong>and</strong> the learn<strong>in</strong>g-to-learn competences they need, to<br />

undertake this experience;<br />
