CONCLUZII
Tehnica piezo-chirurgicalå este o aplicaÆie relativ
nouå în implantologie, întradevår costisitoare pentru medic
çi pacient, dar care prezintå avantaje majore faÆå de
tehnicile clasice. Eliminarea riscului de perforare a
membranei lui Schneider este un factor demn de luat în
seamå, deoarece principala cauzå de eçec a augumentårii
osoase prin elevarea plançeului sinusal era tocmai acesta
perforare (un risc major în cazul folosirii frezelor). Se mai
pot enumera câteva avantaje: asigurarea unui câmp
operator curat, reducerea riscului de lezare a altor
formaÆiuni anatomice, precum çi folosirea piezotomului
în alte tehnici din chirurgia implantologicå sau parodontalå
unde poate inlocui cu succes procedeele clasice.
