Skorne as Characters<br />

Skorne characters possess the following racial traits.<br />

— +2 Strength; skorne are slightly stronger than the typical<br />

human.<br />

— Medium size. Skorne are about a foot taller than average<br />

humans and typically much leaner.<br />

— A skorne’s base land speed is 30 feet.<br />

— 1d8 bonus hit points. Skorne are naturally rugged individuals.<br />

— Racial Skills: Like humans, skorne receive 4 bonus skill<br />

points at 1st level and 1 extra skill point at each level thereafter.<br />

— Racial Feats: Skorne gain a bonus feat at 1st level.<br />

— Prejudice Penalties: When in human, elven, or dwarven<br />

lands, or when interacting with people from such places<br />

who lack extended exposure to the skorne, all skorne suffer<br />

a –6 circumstance penalty to all Bluff, Diplomacy, Gather<br />

In<strong>for</strong>mation, and Sense Motive skill checks due to their racial<br />

prejudice. At the DM’s discretion, there may be situations<br />

where these penalties should be halved, or waived entirely.<br />

— Favored Class: Fighter or wizard. Skorne are not as adaptable<br />

as humans in this regard.<br />

— Medium size.<br />

— A tharn’s base land speed is 30 feet.<br />

— Darkvision 60 ft.<br />

— Racial Hit Dice: A tharn begins with six levels of monstrous<br />

humanoid, which provide 6d8 Hit Dice, a base attack<br />

bonus of +6, and base saving throw bonuses of Fort +2,<br />

Ref +5, and Will +5.<br />

— Racial Skills: A tharn’s humanoid levels give it skill points<br />

equal to 9 x (2 + Int modifier). Its class skills are Climb,<br />

Troll characters possess the following racial traits.<br />

— +12 Strength, +6 Dexterity, +14 Constitution, –4<br />

Intelligence, –4 Wisdom, –2 Charisma.<br />

— Large size.<br />

— A troll’s base land speed is 40 feet.<br />

— Darkvision 60 ft.<br />

— Racial Hit Dice: A troll begins with five levels of monstrous<br />

humanoid, which provide 5d8 Hit Dice, a base attack bonus<br />

of +5, and base saving throw bonuses of Fort +1, Ref +4,<br />

and Will +4.<br />

— Racial Skills: A troll’s monstrous humanoid levels give it<br />

skill points equal to 8 x (2 + Int modifier). Its class skills<br />

are Hide, Intimidate, Listen, and Spot. Trolls use their<br />

Strength modifier <strong>for</strong> Intimidate checks.<br />

— Racial Feats: A troll’s humanoid levels give it two feats.<br />

Trolls receive Great Fortitude as a bonus feat.<br />

— Natural Weapons: 2 claws (1d6) and bite (1d8).<br />

— +6 natural armor bonus.<br />
