Drain the transmission fluid and final drive lubricant from the transmission assembly. 2. Remove the two (2) bolts securing the dipstick tube. 3. Remove the torque converter and fluid pump shaft. Fig. 29 Fig. 29 FLUID PUMP SHAFT 4. Place the transmission in a vertical position, resting on the converter housing. 5. Remove the transmission fluid pan and gasket. 6.
