1. Remove the tension on the B-2 piston return<br />

springs using the special tool (part of the A T<br />

Tool Kit). Tighten the tool until the ring on the<br />

tool bottoms against the piston Fig. 44.<br />

Remove the lock ring securing the spring plate.<br />

Notice:<br />

Do not over-tighten the tool. When the ring on the<br />

tool contacts the face of the piston, the coil<br />

springs are fully compressed.
