11. Position and secure front fender stay.<br />

12. Fit two screws securing lower edge of fender<br />

to spoiler.<br />

13. Fit five screws securing lower edge of fascia<br />

panel to air intake screen.<br />

14. Fit two nuts and bolts securing spoiler to fascia<br />

panel and body mounting bracket.<br />

15. Tighten screws on front fascia panel top edge<br />

support bracket, ensuring correct alignment of<br />

fascia panel.<br />

16. Refit weather strip along top edge of fender<br />

inside luggage compartment.<br />

17. Refit outer door seal along rear edge of fender<br />

in door filler panel.<br />

18. Refit bulb-holder to side marker lamp and<br />

secure lamp with two screws.<br />

Removal<br />

1. Remove spring clip and separate gas strut ball<br />

joint from fender bracket. Provide alternative<br />

louvre panel support, if necessary.<br />

2. Remove side marker lamp by releasing two<br />

retaining screws and unplugging bulb-holder.<br />

3. Remove two screws from each side, securing<br />

rear fascia reinforcement brackets to rear body<br />

pontoons.<br />

4. Ease back end of rear fascia and remove four<br />

screws securing rear edge of fender to pontoon<br />

bracket.<br />

5. Raise car on hoist.<br />

6. Remove rearmost six screws securing lower<br />

edge of rocker panel to body.<br />

7. Remove screw inside wheel opening, securing<br />

fender to rocker panel.<br />

8. Pull back lower edge of rocker panel and<br />

remove screws securing fender to pontoon.<br />

9. Remove three screws securing rear fender<br />

valance to support bracket, and remove.<br />

10. Remove screws securing rear lower edge of<br />

fender to pontoon.<br />

11. Lower car on hoist.<br />

12. Carefully unstick outer door seal sufficiently to<br />

remove the eight screws securing fender to<br />

"B" post filler panel. Remove fender.<br />

Note:<br />

When performing a fender replacement, it is<br />

necessary to replace the body side mouldings<br />

and transfer quarter glass. This can be<br />

achieved using same techniques as windscreen<br />

replacement — see appropriate section.<br />

Installation<br />

1. Ensure wheel opening seal is in good<br />

condition.<br />

2. Position fender on vehicle, route side marker<br />

lamp harness through its opening.<br />

3. Install eight screws securing fender to "B"<br />

post filler panel.
