1. Set the piston in No. 1 cylinder to T.D.C. firing<br />

stroke, which corresponds to<br />

No. 5 cylinder rocker arms "on the rock"<br />

Timing mark on crankshaft pulley opposite<br />

pointer (0) on timing cover. (Fig. 28)<br />

T.D.C. "End of Exhaust—commencement of<br />

"inlet on cylinder No. 1".<br />

opposite pointer (A) on timing cover.<br />
