P2 recalled 14 (70%) <strong>of</strong> the new words <strong>in</strong> spoken format and 16 (80%) <strong>in</strong> written<br />

form. Overall, she achieved 85% success <strong>in</strong> complet<strong>in</strong>g the assessment tasks<br />

correctly. The task that P2 found most difficult was to recall the creatures’ skills<br />

(n=7- 35%). Dur<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>in</strong>dependent time P2 used the full 30 m<strong>in</strong>utes to<br />

consolidate her learn<strong>in</strong>g but chose not to complete any <strong>of</strong> the assessment type<br />

tasks but rather looked at the stimuli silently. Follow<strong>in</strong>g the assessment period <strong>of</strong><br />

the fourth session, P2 had a break <strong>of</strong> approximately 10 m<strong>in</strong>utes and then<br />

listened to the tape record<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> the 20 creature details as well as look<strong>in</strong>g at the<br />

written creatures.<br />
