5.12 PARTICIPANT C7<br />

Participant C7’s personal pr<strong>of</strong>ile is presented <strong>in</strong> Table 5.22 below. She lived<br />

alone and <strong>in</strong>dependently with her mother visit<strong>in</strong>g daily. C7 presented with severe<br />

upper and lower limb hemiparesis (dom<strong>in</strong>ant side) follow<strong>in</strong>g her stroke and<br />

mobilised with the aid <strong>of</strong> a stick. She was actively <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> a charity for poststroke<br />

people and enjoyed attend<strong>in</strong>g social activities.<br />
