The various factors for determ<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g predictors <strong>of</strong> new learn<strong>in</strong>g are discussed <strong>in</strong><br />

section 5.4.2 and are evaluated below for P3 with reference to the data <strong>in</strong> Table<br />

5.6.1.1 Personal attributes<br />

P3 was aged 64.04 at the time <strong>of</strong> the <strong>in</strong>vestigation and was one <strong>of</strong> the oldest<br />

participants. It would therefore be predicted that P3 would learn less new<br />
