5.7 PARTICIPANT C2<br />

Participant C2’s pr<strong>of</strong>ile is displayed <strong>in</strong> Table 5.12. He lived with his wife and,<br />

despite severe hemiparesis on his right dom<strong>in</strong>ant side (upper limb), was fully<br />

mobile and <strong>in</strong>dependent. C2 was actively <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> a charity for post-stroke<br />

people and had an active social life. C2 was receiv<strong>in</strong>g weekly <strong>in</strong>dividual and<br />

group speech and language therapy at the time <strong>of</strong> the <strong>in</strong>vestigation.<br />
