Use Calculators<br />

Upon completion of this objective, learners will be able to:<br />

1.1. identify the risks and benefits involved in using calculators in the trade<br />

1.2. describe how calculators are used in the trade<br />

1.3. determine the best calculator for the trade<br />

1.4. use knowledge of calculators to solve problems<br />

Note: Calculators are used to improve speed and accuracy of calculations.<br />

However, it is important to note that calculators are tools and are only accurate if<br />

they are used properly. It is very important to have an understanding of order of<br />

operations when using calculators.<br />
