Table 1. Results from precision and accuracy tests performed on glass reference materials from the Corning Museum of Glass with United States National Museum (USNM) number provided. The four rows for each reference glass present the certified values of the reference material (“reference”), the normalised results of the mean of 3 SEM-EDS area measurements of the three reference glasses (“analysed”), the standard deviation for those 3 measurements (“STDev”), the absolute difference between the analyses and reference values for each compound (“δ abs”), and the relative difference between the analysed and the reference values for each compound expressed in percent (“δ ref (%)”). All oxides are in weight percent (wt%). Below detection limits = bd.
