(<strong>JP</strong> 2-01.2)facility — A real property entity consisting <strong>of</strong> one or more <strong>of</strong> the following: a building, astructure, a utility system, pavement, <strong>and</strong> underlying l<strong>and</strong>. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-34)facility substitutes — Items such as tents <strong>and</strong> prepackaged structures requisitioned throughthe supply system that may be used to substitute for constructed facilities. Thefederal coordinating <strong>of</strong>ficer is responsible for coordinating the timely delivery <strong>of</strong>federal disaster assistance resources <strong>and</strong> programs to the affected state <strong>and</strong> localgovernments, individual victims, <strong>and</strong> the private sector. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-41)federal service — A term applied to National Guard members <strong>and</strong> units when called toactive duty to serve the United States Government under Article I, Section 8 <strong>and</strong>Article II, Section 2 <strong>of</strong> the Constitution <strong>and</strong> the Title 10, United States Code, Sections12401 to 12408.
