As Amended Through 15 March 2012repatriate — A person who returns to his or her country or citizenship, having left saidnative country either against his or her will, or as one <strong>of</strong> a group who left for reason <strong>of</strong>politics, religion, or other pertinent reasons.repatriation — 1. The procedure whereby American citizens <strong>and</strong> their families are<strong>of</strong>ficially processed back into the United States subsequent to an evacuation. See alsoevacuation. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-68) 2. The release <strong>and</strong> return <strong>of</strong> enemy prisoners <strong>of</strong> war to theirown country in accordance with the 1949 Geneva Convention Relative to theTreatment <strong>of</strong> Prisoners <strong>of</strong> War. (<strong>JP</strong> 1-0)replenishment at sea — (*) Those operations required to make a transfer <strong>of</strong> personnel<strong>and</strong>/or supplies when at sea.reportable incident — Any suspected or alleged violation <strong>of</strong> Department <strong>of</strong> Defense policyor <strong>of</strong> other related orders, policies, procedures or applicable law, for which there iscredible information. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-63)request for assistance — A request based on mission requirements <strong>and</strong> expressed in terms<strong>of</strong> desired outcome, formally asking the Department <strong>of</strong> Defense to provide assistance toa local, state, tribal, or other federal agency. Any specific time-sensitive ad hoc requirement forintelligence information or products to support an ongoing crisis or operation notnecessarily related to st<strong>and</strong>ing requirements or scheduled intelligence production. Arequest for information can be initiated to respond to operational requirements <strong>and</strong> will bevalidated in accordance with the combatant comm<strong>and</strong>’s procedures. 2. The NationalSecurity Agency/Central Security Service uses this term to state ad hoc signalsintelligence requirements. Also called RFI. See also intelligence. (<strong>JP</strong> 2-0)required delivery date — The date that a force must arrive at the destination <strong>and</strong> completeunloading. Also called RDD. (<strong>JP</strong> 5-0)requirements management system — A system for the management <strong>of</strong> theater <strong>and</strong>national imagery collection requirements that provides automated tools for users insupport <strong>of</strong> submission, review, <strong>and</strong> validation <strong>of</strong> imagery nominations as requirementsto be tasked on national or Department <strong>of</strong> Defense imagery collection, production, <strong>and</strong>exploitation resources. Also called RMS. See also imagery. (<strong>JP</strong> 2-01)requiring activity — A military or other designated supported organization that identifies<strong>and</strong> receives contracted support during military operations. See also supported unit.(<strong>JP</strong> 4-10)requisitioning objective — The maximum quantities <strong>of</strong> materiel to be maintained on h<strong>and</strong><strong>and</strong> on order to sustain current operations.
