Also called OCDETF. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-07.4)origin — Beginning point <strong>of</strong> a deployment where unit or non-unit-related cargo orpersonnel are located.originating medical facility — A medical facility that initially transfers a patient to anothermedical facility. (<strong>JP</strong> 4-<strong>02</strong>)originator — The comm<strong>and</strong> by whose authority a message is sent, which includes theresponsibility for the functions <strong>of</strong> the drafter <strong>and</strong> the releasing <strong>of</strong>ficer. (<strong>JP</strong> 2-01)oscillating mine — A mine, hydrostatically controlled, which maintains a pre-set depthbelow the surface <strong>of</strong> the water independently <strong>of</strong> the rise <strong>and</strong> fall <strong>of</strong> the tide.
