(<strong>JP</strong> 2-01.3)joint intelligence support element — A subordinate joint force element whose focus is onintelligence support for joint operations, providing the joint force comm<strong>and</strong>er, joint staff,<strong>and</strong> components with the complete air, space, ground, <strong>and</strong> maritime adversary situation.Also called JISE. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-08)joint interface control <strong>of</strong>ficer — The senior interface control <strong>of</strong>ficer for multi-tactical datalink networks in the joint force. Responsible for development <strong>and</strong> validation <strong>of</strong> thearchitecture <strong>and</strong> the joint interoperability <strong>and</strong> management <strong>of</strong> the multi-tactical datalink networks. Oversees operations <strong>of</strong> a joint interface control cell. Also called JICO.(<strong>JP</strong> 3-01)joint interrogation <strong>and</strong> debriefing center — Physical location for the exploitation <strong>of</strong>intelligence information from detainees <strong>and</strong> other sources. Activities conducted by a joint or interagencyorganization to extract information for intelligence purposes from enemy prisoners <strong>of</strong>war, dislocated civilians, enemy combatants, or other uncategorized detainees. 2.Activities conducted in support <strong>of</strong> law enforcement efforts to adjudicate enemycombatants who are believed to have committed crimes against US persons or property.Also called JIO.
