As Amended Through 15 March 2012joint reception complex — The group <strong>of</strong> nodes (air <strong>and</strong>/or sea) designated by the supportedcombatant comm<strong>and</strong>, in coordination with the host nation <strong>and</strong> United StatesTransportation Comm<strong>and</strong>, that receives, processes, services, supports, <strong>and</strong> facilitatesonward movement <strong>of</strong> personnel, equipment, materiel, <strong>and</strong> units deploying into, out <strong>of</strong>,or within a theater line <strong>of</strong> communications. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-35)joint reception coordination center — The organization, established by the Department <strong>of</strong>the Army as the designated Department <strong>of</strong> Defense executive agent for the repatriation<strong>of</strong> noncombatants, that ensures Department <strong>of</strong> Defense personnel <strong>and</strong> noncombatantsreceive adequate assistance <strong>and</strong> support for an orderly <strong>and</strong> expedient debarkation,movement to final destination in the United States, <strong>and</strong> appropriate follow-onassistance at the final destination. Also called JRCC. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-68)joint reception, staging, onward movement, <strong>and</strong> integration — A phase <strong>of</strong> joint forceprojection occurring in the operational area. This phase comprises the essentialprocesses required to transition arriving personnel, equipment, <strong>and</strong> materiel into forcescapable <strong>of</strong> meeting operational requirements. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-35)joint restricted frequency list — A time <strong>and</strong> geographically oriented listing <strong>of</strong> TABOO,PROTECTED, <strong>and</strong> GUARDED functions, nets, <strong>and</strong> frequencies <strong>and</strong> limited to theminimum number <strong>of</strong> frequencies necessary for friendly forces to accomplish objectives.Also called JRFL. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-13.1)joint security area — A specific surface area, designated by the joint force comm<strong>and</strong>er t<strong>of</strong>acilitate protection <strong>of</strong> joint bases <strong>and</strong> their connecting lines <strong>of</strong> communications thatsupport joint operations. Also called JSA. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-10)joint security coordination center — A joint operations center tailored to assist the jointsecurity coordinator in meeting the security requirements in the joint operational area.Also called JSCC. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-10)joint security coordinator — The <strong>of</strong>ficer with responsibility for coordinating the overallsecurity <strong>of</strong> the operational area in accordance with joint force comm<strong>and</strong>er directives<strong>and</strong> priorities. Also called JSC. (<strong>JP</strong> 3-10)joint servicing — That function performed by a jointly staffed <strong>and</strong> financed activity insupport <strong>of</strong> two or more Services.
