Also called JDDE. (<strong>DOD</strong>I 5851.06)joint deployment <strong>and</strong> distribution operations center — A combatant comm<strong>and</strong>movement control organization designed to synchronize <strong>and</strong> optimize national <strong>and</strong>theater multimodal resources for deployment, distribution, <strong>and</strong> sustainment, Alsocalled JDDOC. (<strong>JP</strong> 4-09)joint desired point <strong>of</strong> impact — A unique, alpha-numeric coded aimpoint identified by athree dimensional (latitude, longitude, elevation) mensurated point. It represents aweapon or capabilities desired point <strong>of</strong> impact or penetration <strong>and</strong> is used as the st<strong>and</strong>ardfor identifying aimpoints. (CJCSI 5120.<strong>02</strong>)Joint Doctrine Planning Conference — A forum convened by the Joint Staff J-7 thatmeets semiannually to address <strong>and</strong> vote on project proposals; discuss key joint doctrinal<strong>and</strong> operational issues; discuss potential changes to the joint doctrine developmentprocess; keep up to date on the status <strong>of</strong> the joint publication projects <strong>and</strong> emerging<strong>JP</strong> 1-<strong>02</strong> 173
