A document that defines the logistic <strong>and</strong> employment concepts <strong>and</strong> relatedphysical environments involved in the delivery <strong>of</strong> a nuclear weapon from the stockpileto the target. It may also define the logistic flow involved in moving nuclear weaponsto <strong>and</strong> from the stockpile for quality assurance testing, modification <strong>and</strong> retr<strong>of</strong>it, <strong>and</strong> therecycling <strong>of</strong> limited life components.stop-loss — Presidential authority under Title 10, United States Code, Section 12305 tosuspend laws relating to promotion, retirement, or separation <strong>of</strong> any member <strong>of</strong> theArmed Forces determined essential to the national security <strong>of</strong> the United States (“lawsrelating to promotion” broadly includes, among others, grade tables, current general orflag <strong>of</strong>ficer authorizations, <strong>and</strong> E8 <strong>and</strong> 9 limits).
