IntroductionErnie Knoll and the For My People MinistrySince the spring of 2005, Ernie Knoll has been receiving dreams from God forHis people in fulfillment of Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17. He has seen last dayevents, heaven, and the new earth. He has received messages of revival andrepentance.Not surprisingly, these dreams have not been well received by many within theSeventh-day Adventist Church, including the leadership. The messages haveeither been ignored entirely or rejected. This is very troubling and is a fulfillmentof Revelation 3:17 in the description of Laodicea that is rich and increased withgoods and in need of nothing. It is also in direct opposition to the Bibleadmonition in 1 Thessalonians 5:19 which says to “quench not the Spirit” and“despise not prophesying.”Ernie’s fall into sin and subsequent repentance has not helped the widespreadacceptance of these messages. Many feel that God could not use Ernie as amessenger because they think a prophet is beyond falling. However, as you willsee in chapter 2 of volume 2, “Ernie Knoll’s Fall and Repentance,” this was notthe case with many Bible prophets. Some of the most outstanding people in theBible fell into sin, and yet God forgave them and continued to use them.Dreams and visions from the Lord are part of God's "present truth" and ifrejected, amount to a rejection of the Lord Himself. This is a very serious actionwith consequences for God's church. In 1888, the Lord had a message of"present truth" for His people, which was also largely rejected. This rejectionagain caused God’s people to “wander in the wilderness.”Again, the Lord is trying to bring His people to the shores of the Promised Land.Will we reject His messages again or will we embrace them and allow the Lordto prepare us for His soon return? This book is an attempt to set the recordstraight and to bring the truth before God's people.
