The most dangerous falsehoods arethose that are mingled with truth. It is thus that errors are received thatcaptivate and ruin the soul. By this means Satan carries the world withhim. But a day is coming when his triumph will be forever ended (PP338)”FactPastor Wohlberg is correct that dreams and visions should be examinedcarefully. Jesus has warned us that false prophets would arise and deceivemany. However, we must remember that many reject God’s prophets, as canbe seen throughout history and even today.God says:Luke 4:24And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his owncountry.Luke 13:34-35O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest themthat are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy childrentogether, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye wouldnot!Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you,Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is hethat cometh in the name of the Lord.Matthew 23:29-35Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build thetombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, Andsay, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have beenpartakers with them in the blood of the prophets.Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children ofthem which killed the prophets.
