Leaving herwaterpot, she returned to the city, to carry the message to others. Jesusknew why she had gone. Leaving her waterpot spoke unmistakably as tothe effect of His words. It was the earnest desire of her soul to obtain theliving water; and she forgot her errand to the well, she forgot theSaviour's thirst, which she had purposed to supply. Jesus would givethem a chance to rest, and He bade them sit down.Conclusion<strong>The</strong> Word of God in the Bible, the Spirit of Prophecy, and the dreams of Ernieshould have a supernatural pull on us. When Jesus spoke while on earth, Hiswords had an effect on people like no others.
