While at familyprayers one morning, the power of God began to rest upon me, and thethought rushed into my mind that it was mesmerism, and I resisted it.Immediately I was struck dumb and for a few moments was lost toeverything around me.ConclusionThose are just a few examples of how God’s prophets have been or feltdiscouraged, alone, or persecuted. This does not mean they are not at peacewith God. However, if they did not have people like Elder Ferrell writing falseaccusations about them, then perhaps they would have no reason fordiscouragement.
