He does not solicit tithe, however, if someone asks whether heaccepts tithe, he answers that he does. These women give theirwhole time, and are told that they receive nothing for their labors becausetheir husbands receive their wages. I tell them to go forward and all suchdecisions shall be reversed. The Word says, "The laborer is worthy of hishire." When any such decision as this is made, I will in the name of theLord, protest. I will feel it in my duty to create a fund from my tithemoney, to pay these women who are accomplishing just as essential workas the ministers are doing, and this tithe I will reserve for work in thesame line as that of the ministers, hunting for souls, fishing for souls. Iknow that these faithful women should be paid wages proportionate tothe pay received by ministers.ConclusionBy God’s standards, conference pastors are not the only ones who shouldreceive tithe.
