But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vesselunto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children ofIsrael.” Acts 9:13-15.If God could convert Saul after his vision, is it any harder to convert Ernie afterhis dream? This teaches us a number of important lessons:1. Never limit what God can do.2. God can choose the worst sinner to become His “chosen vessel.”3. Because God knows the beginning to the end, He chooses peoplebecause He knows what they can become.Supernatural beingsLinda Kirk says: (see Appendix L)“Another concern was the supernatural beings that kept appearing toyou, that you could see only out of the corner of you eye, as you werebeing pressured to tell the dream during the two weeks following thedream. That’s downright spooky. That sounds like the works of theangels of darkness, not of pure, holy, heavenly beings.“Here is how you described it: ‘For two weeks I did not tell the nextpart of the dream. For two weeks I did not share the most important partof this dream. For two weeks I kept it secret, but for two weeks I would,still knowing that I was sitting at home, I wasn’t going out anywhere, Iwould all of the sudden see things walk around out of the corner of myeye, and I’d look and there wasn’t anybody there. But at the same time Iwould hear a voice say, “You need to share the end of the dream.” I’d goto sleep at night, and I’d fall asleep, only to be wakened up later, and I’dhear a voice say, “You need to share the rest of the dream.” This went onfor two weeks…’ ”FactWhat Ernie saw out of the corner of his eye was a quick flash of bright whitelight. He was not afraid and it was not spooky to him, because he knew it wasan angel of the Lord encouraging him to share the end of the dream called, “AView of Heaven.”
