Chapter Seven - Linda Kirk 295emanating from it shone upon them and around them, dispelling theirdarkness, and growing clearer and brighter, until they seemed to betransformed, and resembled the angels. They cast not one lingering lookupon the earthly crown. Those who were in pursuit of the earthly, mocked them, and threw black balls after them. These did them no injurywhile their eyes were fixed upon the heavenly crown, but those whoturned their attention to the black balls were stained with them. The Desire of Ages, p. 92Yet through childhood, youth, and manhood, Jesus walked alone. InHis purity and His faithfulness, He trod the wine press alone, and of thepeople there was none with Him. He carried the awful weight ofresponsibility for the salvation of men. He knew that unless there was adecided change in the principles and purposes of the human race, allwould be lost. Sadly, history shows thatthe majority of people choose to reject God’s prophets. Jesus said: “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecutedthey the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:12.Constant affirmationLinda Kirk says: (see Appendix L)“You seem to be receiving constant affirmation and special tokensthroughout your dreams.
