In another tableau Sgambati and his wife took the
parts of Coriolanus and his mother. The" moment
selected was that in which the women of Eome kneel
before Coriolanus. How beautiful the signora looked
in this scene ! I shall not easily forget her.
We had not, as I have before mentioned, realized
very much by this performance, but still there was
