The rise in temperature of the regulation is slower but on the other hand, this device avoids<br />

the power call peaks. During the audit, LM Control must take into account production<br />

parameters (average parts flow to galvanize). Indeed, if this flow is too high, the furnace will<br />

not have the capacity to maintain the temperature of the bath because heating periods will<br />

regularly be cut by the optimizer. The temperature will thus decrease gradually and the zinc<br />

will solidify.<br />

The set up of this energy management device allows to reduce the peak load from 650 kW to<br />

510 kW as showed on the following diagrams. The subscribed power can now be reduced in<br />

order to decrease the electricity bill.<br />
