+ (copii abandonafli. pærinfli în abandon)Cînd abandonul (se) face societateLiniile de fugæ ale unei dezbateriAdrian T. SîrbuNe amintim cum simpatia unanimæ cu care erau întîmpinate dramaticeleevenimente ale debarasærii românilor de Ceauøescu cristaliza simbolic øi înpublicitatea largæ de care s-a bucurat celebrul cliøeu al „Gavroche-uluiromân“. Prefl de-o clipæ øi graflie redundanflei mimetice a mediilor de pretutindeni(bulimice, cum øtim, la asemenea imagini „gata fæcute“, pentru atrece apoi la fel de iute la altceva), orfanul cu drapelul decupat în centru deveneaemblema efemeræ – pregnantæ însæ – a redempfliunii spontane, princhiar copiii ei (dezmoøtenifli), a unei nafliuni uzate øi abrutizate, spoliatæ eaînsæøi de orice viitor. Era, de fapt, o imagine justæ, fiindcæ era una al cæreifiligran oferæ tocmai cifrul ræsturnærii de situaflie resimflite (copleøitor, exaltant,cum altfel?) de o societate ce se væzuse pînæ atunci ca abandonatæ depropria-i soartæ – într-o fundæturæ a acesteia øi a istoriei în general. Cu ocondiflie doar: ca acest cifru sæ fie descifrat corect.E drept, bizara proclamare a „victoriei“ poporului ræsculat împotriva (tiraniei)tætucului care-l abuzase în toate felurile – înainte de a da în cele dinurmæ bir cu fugiflii – tocmai sub forma exclamafliei patetice despre Dumnezeu,o altæ instanflæ paternæ, care, „în sfîrøit“, øi-ar fi „întors fafla cætre România“,are exact – øi exclusiv – aceastæ semnificaflie: a sentimentului suspendæriistærii de abandon, a anulærii ei ca prin miracol (ceea ce, desigur, ecrana percepfliacauzelor reale ale cæderii tiranului). Tot aøa cum, pe de altæ parte, decupareagæurii în steag nu însemna, dincolo de descærcarea jubilatorie, decîttentativa de ablaflie a unui stigmat evocator (alæturi de toate celelalteînsemne vandalizate, distruse, cælcate în picioare în zilele acelea) al traumeiabandonului tocmai suspendat. Abandon contra abandon, forcludere arejecfliei øi separaflie prin autoexcizie din aceasta, s-ar zice (o schemæ a compensærii,în plus, ce s-ar fi împlinit – descærcat – îndatæ dupæ aceea în eliminareafizicæ a dictatorului).În fond însæ, aceastæ revanøæ in extremis asupra abandonului, oricît de justificabilæ,pærînd chiar stræluminatæ de încuviinflæri înalte, nu era, øi nu puteafi altceva, decît chiuretare exasperatæ a unui gol. O abreacflie, intempestivæ,compulsivæ ca orice abreacflie, la o lipsæ incolmatabilæ, în genere, la o absenflæde neconsolat... Cæci altminteri, în litera ei, exclamaflia aceea fuseseun nonsens politic øi civic patent – un strigæt vid, însæ perfect mistificator pentrupustiul în care el are a ræsuna – într-o revoluflie ori ræsturnare care, fieea øi „reparatorie“, aøa cum e înfleleasæ de foarte mulfli, nicio clipæ, în schimb,nu øi-a tægæduit revendicarea sa de modernitate; øi nici, mai ales, pe aceeade emancipare, pe toate planurile (ne puteam închipui). Ba dimpotrivæ.Ar trebui s-o dea de înfleles, oricui, nu numai paricidul „tatælui“ gæsit vinovatpentru abandon (avatarul cel mai recent al deznodæmîntului prototipic,sub ghilotinæ, al feloniei despotului faflæ de veritabilul suveran ridicat sæ-øireclame dreptul uzurpat), ci chiar „teologia (politicæ) negativæ“ inerentæ ficfliuniifondatoare, în imanenflæ, a drepturilor øi libertæflilor constitutive pen-ADRIAN T. SîrbuWe remember how the unanimous sympathy which met the dramatic eventsof Romanians getting rid of Ceauøescu symbolically epitomized as well in thelarge-scale publicity stirred by the famous cliché of the “Romanian Gavroche”.For a moment and thanks to the mimetic redundancy of the media everywhere(hungry, as we know, for such “ready-made” images, then passing rightaway to something else), the orphan holding a flag with a hole in the middlebecame the ephemeral, but pregnant effigy of the spontaneous redemption,by its very (castaway) children, of a worn out and imbruted nation, deprivedof any future. In fact, that image was correct, because its filigree offeredexactly the very cipher to the turning felt (in an overwhelming, exulted manner,how else could it have been?) by a society which so far had regardeditself as being abandoned by its very own destiny – in a dead-end of the latterand of history, in general. With only one condition: that this cipher be correctlydeciphered.It’s true, the bizarre announcement of the rebelled people’s “victory” over the“Daddy” who abused it in every possible way – before turning tail –, uttered asa pathetic exclamation about God, another fatherly instance, who had “finallyturned his face to Romania”, was the precise – and exclusive – expression ofone thing: a feeling that the state of abandonment was suspended or miraculouslyobliterated (a fact that did obscure, indeed, the apprehension of thereal motifs for the tyrant’s fall). Just like, on the other side, clipping a hole inthe flag meant, besides the jubilatory discharge, nothing else but an attemptto ablate a stigmata which evoked (along with the other symbols being vandalized,destroyed, ran over those days) the trauma of the just suspendedabandonment. Abandonment against abandonment, foreclosure of rejectionand separation through self-excision from it, one could say (one more compensationscheme, which would have been put into act – discharged –, rightafter that, through the physical elimination of the dictator).However, in fact, this in extremis revenge over abandonment, no matter howjustifiable it was, and seemingly enlightened by approvals from above, was(and couldn’t have been anything else) just an exasperated curettage of a hollow.An abreaction – unexpected, compulsive as any abreaction – to an irrecoverablelack, in general, to an inconsolable absence... For, otherwise, literally,that exclamation had been a genuine politic and civic nonsense – a void cry,but an utterly mystifying one in the emptiness it had to resonate with – in a revolution,or reversal, which, be it “reparatory”, as many understand it, has notdenied, not for a second, its claim for modernity; and neither, especially, thatfor emancipation, at all levels (as one might have thought). On the contrary.And this should be clear to everyone, not only from the parricide of the“father” found guilty for desertion (the most recent avatar of the prototypicalADRIAN T.
