Section I Detailed functions of <strong>ExpressCluster</strong><br />

Starting the applications or services (armload command)<br />

/A Specify this parameter when you want to specify the<br />

service as a monitoring target even though it is already<br />

started.<br />

This parameter is optional.<br />

* This parameter cannot be specified in Format 1.<br />

/WAIT time Specifies the time to wait <strong>for</strong> the completion of a<br />

service startup by the second. When this parameter is<br />

specified, this command does not return controls<br />

while waiting <strong>for</strong> the service to complete startup<br />

(SERVICE_RUNNING) or within the wait time. This<br />

parameter is optional. When omitted, the command<br />

does not wait <strong>for</strong> the completion of a startup.<br />

* This parameter cannot be specified in Format 1.<br />

* The value from 0 through 3600 can be specified.<br />

When 0 is specified, the command waits <strong>for</strong> the<br />

completion of a startup endlessly.<br />

/INT time Specifies restart interval of the application or service,<br />

or scripts by the second. This parameter is optional<br />

When omitted, 0 (second) is specified to the restart<br />

interval.<br />

* This parameter is valid when /R or /R and /SCR<br />

options are specified.<br />

* The value from 0 through 3600 can be specified.<br />

service-name Specifies the service name.<br />

* This parameter cannot be specified in Format 1.<br />

For service-name, specify one of the following:<br />

(1) Specify the service name that is displayed on the<br />

Services on the Administrative Tools.<br />

(2) Specify xxxx that matches with the service name<br />

displaying “DisplayName”, the key of xxxx of<br />

the following registry in Services on<br />

Administrative Tools.<br />

olSet\Services\xxxx<br />

Example) For FTP service of IIS<br />

Name displayed on the Service window<br />

FTP Publishing Service<br />

Name displayed on the registry<br />
