Understanding HTTP monitor resources<br />

HTTP monitor resources monitor HTTP services that run on the server. HTTP monitor resources<br />

monitor HTTP protocol but they are not intended <strong>for</strong> monitoring specific applications. HTTP<br />

monitor resources monitor various applications that implement HTTP protocol.<br />

HTTP monitor resources<br />

Note 1 For monitoring target resources, specify service resources or script resources that<br />

start HTTP services. Monitoring starts after a target resource is activated. However,<br />

if HTTP service cannot be started immediately after the target resource is activated,<br />

adjust the time using Wait Time to Start Monitoring.<br />

Note 2 HTTP service may produce operation logs <strong>for</strong> each monitoring operation. Configure<br />

HTTP settings if this needs to be adjusted.<br />

Monitoring by HTTP monitor resources<br />

HTTP monitor resources connect to the HTTP server and execute the command <strong>for</strong> acquiring<br />

HTTP header. As a result of monitoring, the following is considered as an error:<br />

(1) When connection to the HTTP service fails.<br />

(2) When an error is notified as a response to the command.<br />

Displaying and changing the HTTP monitor resource details<br />

1. Click Monitors on the tree view displayed on the left side of the Builder window.<br />

2. List of the monitor resources is displayed in the table view on the right side of the screen.<br />

Right click the target HTTP monitor resource, and click the Parameter tab in the Monitor<br />

Resource Property window.<br />

3. On the Parameter tab, you can display and/or change the detailed settings by following the<br />

description below.<br />
