CIFS monitor resources obtain the information of shared folders publicized on a server and monitor if the shared folders publicized by CIFS resources are contained. An error is detected when the shared folders publicized by CIFS resources do not exist. CIFS monitor resources also monitor accessibility to the shared folders.
