Chapter 7 Monitor resource details Understanding mirror connect monitor resources Note on mirror connect monitor resources 610 A mirror disk connect monitor resource monitors a network for mirroring. If communication of mirror data using the specified mirror connect fails, it is recognized as an error. This resource is automatically registered when the first mirror disk resource is added. Because mirror disk resources share the same mirror connect interface, only one interface is automatically registered. Displaying and changing the mirror connect monitor resource details ~For Replicator ~ 1. Click Monitors on the tree view displayed on the left side of the Builder window. 2. List of the monitor resources is displayed in the table view on the right side of the screen. Right click the target mirror disk monitor resource, and click the Parameter tab in the Monitor Resource Property window. 3. On the Parameter tab, you can display and/or change the detailed settings by following the description below. Note: Do not change the settings shown below on the Error Detection tab. With these settings, you can send an alert message if an error is determined. Mirror Disk Resource SuspendResume The mirror disk resource to be monitored is displayed. Browse Section II Resource details Understanding mirror connect monitor resources Click this button to display the dialog box where you can select a mirror disk resource to be monitored. Mirror disk resources registered with the cluster are displayed in a tree view. You can select only mirror disk resources in this view. Select a mirror disk resource and click OK. 611
