Understanding Oracle monitor resources<br />

Displaying the Oracle monitor resource properties with the<br />

WebManager<br />

1. Start the WebManager (http://FIP_address_<strong>for</strong>_the_WebManager_group: port_number (the<br />

default value is 29003)).<br />

2. Click the Oracle monitor resources object, , in the tree view. The following in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />

is displayed in the list view.<br />

Name: Oracle monitor resource name<br />

Comment: Comment of the Oracle monitor resource<br />

Connect String: Connect string <strong>for</strong> the database to be monitored<br />

OS Authentication: Method used to connect to the database to be monitored<br />

Authentication Method: Authentication method <strong>for</strong> the connection to the database to be<br />

monitored<br />

Monitor Table Name: Table name <strong>for</strong> monitoring<br />

Status: Status of the Oracle monitor resource<br />

Server Name: Server name<br />

Status: Status of the monitor resource on the given server<br />
