Setting limitations on the connection and operation<br />

The limitation in connection and operation of the WebManager can be configured in Cluster<br />

Properties in the Builder. For details, see Chapter 3, “Functions of the Builder.”<br />

Type of limitation<br />

There are two ways to set usage limitations:<br />

� Limiting the access by using client IP addresses<br />

� Limiting the operation by using a password<br />

Limiting the access by using client IP addresses<br />

This function limits clients who can access the WebManager and operations on the WebManager<br />

by using client IP addresses.<br />

Add IP addresses to IP Addresses of the Accessible Clients on the WebManager tab in the<br />

Cluster Properties of the Builder. See “WebManager tab” on page 129.<br />

When setting the limitation of the connection of the WebManager, if you attempt to access to the<br />

WebManager from the IP address that is not added to IP Addresses of the Accessible Clients,<br />

the following error messages are displayed.<br />
