Messages reported by event log and alert<br />

These are the messages reported by applications, event logs, and alert viewer of the WebManager.<br />

Messages with ● in the columns of Alert, Eventlog and Userlog are recorded in each log. The<br />

following shows how to refer the logs:<br />

Output to the Alert Viewer of the<br />

WebManager. Logs can be collected by using<br />

the log collection tool.<br />

Output to the Event Viewer of the OS. Collect<br />

logs by using the log collection tool. The<br />

source of the event is “<strong>ExpressCluster</strong> X.”<br />

Logs can be collected by using the log<br />

collection tool. Note because they are<br />

collected in the binary <strong>for</strong>mat with the file<br />

names in the right column, it is necessary to<br />

open the files using Event Viewer in the<br />

environment where <strong>ExpressCluster</strong> is set up<br />

to refer to the in<strong>for</strong>mation.<br />

These are the logs with text <strong>for</strong>mat, in which<br />

detail in<strong>for</strong>mation is recorded. They are<br />

output in the “userlog.00.log” file in the log<br />

folder of the logs collected by using the log<br />

collection tool.<br />

Messages with ● in the Mailr Report conlum are reported when mail reporting of the alert service<br />

is configured.<br />

“Report Settings” are settings of when linking to the ESMPRO Agent. In “Alive,” the ESMPRO<br />

Agent per<strong>for</strong>ms the Alert report. In “Manager,” alerts are output to the ESMPRO Agent. For<br />

details, see the manual of the ESMPRO Agent.<br />
