Understanding print spooler resources
Print spooler resources make the printer functions failover by creating a spool directory on the
partition of the disk resource or mirror disk resource.
Notes on print spooler resources
Note 1 All servers should use the same printer name, same port and same shared name in their
printer definitions and configure the settings for local printer.
Note 2 Set the spool directory on a partition of a disk resource or mirror disk resource because
the printer spool directory should fail over.
Displaying and changing the details of print spooler resources
1. From the tree view displayed on the left pane of the Builder, click the icon of the group to
which the print spooler resource whose detailed information you want to display and/or
change belongs.
2. The group resource list is displayed in the table view in the right pane of the window.
Right-click the desired print spooler resource name, click Properties, and then click Details
tab.
3. On Details tab, you can display and/or change the settings by following the description
below.
