Final Action SuspendResume<br />

Select an action to be taken when activation retry failed the number of times specified in<br />

Activation Retry Threshold and failover failed as many times as the number of times specified<br />

in Failover Threshold when an activation error is detected.<br />

Select a final action from the following:<br />

• No Operation (Activate next resource)<br />

• No Operation (Not activate next resource)<br />

• Stop Group<br />

• Stop cluster service<br />

• Stop cluster service and shutdown OS<br />

• Stop cluster service and reboot OS<br />

• Generating of intentional Stop Error<br />

For details on the final action, see “Final action.”<br />

Execute Script be<strong>for</strong>e Final Action<br />

Select whether script is run or not be<strong>for</strong>e executing final action when an activation failure is<br />

detected.<br />

• When selected:<br />

A script/command is run be<strong>for</strong>e executing final action. To configure the script/command<br />

setting, click Settings.<br />

• When cleared:<br />

Any script/command is not run.<br />

Retry Count at Deactivation Failure (0 to 99) SuspendResume<br />

Enter how many times to retry deactivation when an error in deactivation is detected.<br />

If you set this to zero (0), deactivation will not be retried.<br />

Final Action SuspendResume<br />

Select the action to be taken when deactivation retry failed the number of times specified in<br />

Retry Count at Deactivation Failure when an error in deactivation is detected.<br />

Select the final action from the following:<br />

• No Operation (Deactivate next resource)<br />

• No Operation (Not deactivate next resource)<br />

• Stop cluster service and shutdown OS<br />

• Stop cluster service and reboot OS<br />

• Generating of intentional Stop Error<br />

For details on the final action, see “Final action.”<br />

Note:<br />

If you select No Operation as the final action when a deactivation error is detected, group does<br />

not stop but remains in the deactivation error status. Make sure not to set No Operation in the<br />

production environment.<br />
