Chapter 6 Group resource details Operations at detection of activation and inactivation errors 398 When an activation or deactivation error is detected, the following operations are performed: � When an error in activation of group resources is detected: • When an error in activation of group resources is detected, activation is retried. • When activation retries fail as many times as the number set to Retry Count at Activation Failure, a failover to the server specified in Failover destination takes place. • If the failover fails as many times as the number set to Failover Threshold, the action configured in Final Action is performed. � When an error in deactivation of group resources is detected: • When an error in deactivation of group resources is detected, deactivation is retried. • When deactivation retries fail as many times as the number set to Retry Count at Deactivation Failure, the action configured in Final Action is performed. Note: Failovers are counted on a server basis. Failover Threshold is the maximum failover count on a server.
