command)<br />

sdopen.exe: the sdopen.exe command permits an access to the shared disk<br />

Command line:<br />

sdopen.exe disk_resource_name<br />

Description In general, the shared disk is accessible only when the disk resource is<br />

activated. In other cases the access is prohibited.<br />

This command permits the access to the inactivated disk resource.<br />

Parameter disk_resource_name Specifies the disk resource name to which you<br />

want to permit the access.<br />

Return Value 0 Success<br />

1 The parameter is invalid.<br />

3 or<br />

larger<br />

Other error (possible causes are described below)<br />

• Invalid HBA settings<br />

• Invalid drive letter settings<br />

• Internal error<br />

Notes Make sure that the disk resource is inactivated be<strong>for</strong>e using this<br />

command. If this command is executed in the state that the disk resource<br />

is activated, data on the shared disk may be corrupted.<br />

When access to the shared disk is permitted by using this command, be<br />

sure to prohibit the access by using the sdclose command be<strong>for</strong>e<br />

activating the disk resource. If the disk resource us activated in the state<br />

where the access is not prohibited, data on the shared disk may be<br />

corrupted.<br />

Remarks This command can be used only outside scripts.<br />
