� When Follow the default dependence is not selected:<br />

The selected group resource depends on the specified resource.<br />

Add SuspendResume GroupStopRestart<br />

It is used when adding the group resource selected in Available Resources to Dependent<br />

Resources.<br />

Remove SuspendResume GroupStopRestart<br />

It is used when removing the group resource selected in Dependent Resources from Dependent<br />

Resources.<br />

Displaying and changing the operation settings when a group<br />

resource error is detected<br />

You can display and change the operation settings of actions when a group resource error is<br />

detected (when group resources are active/inactive) by using the Settings tab of the Builder.<br />

1. In the tree view shown in the left pane of the Builder, click the icon of the group to which<br />

the group resource you want to display or change whose behavior at the time when a group<br />

resource error is detected belongs.<br />

2. The list of group resources will be shown in the table view on the right pane. Right-click the<br />

group resource you want to view or set whose behavior at the time when a group resource<br />

error is detected. Click Properties, and then click the Settings tab.<br />

3. Specify the behavior at the time when a group resource error is detected by following the<br />

procedures below:<br />

� When an error in activation of the group resource is detected:<br />

When an error is detected while activating the group resource, try activating it again.<br />

When the activation retry count exceeds the number of times set in Retry Count at<br />

Activation Failure, failover to the server specified in the Failover Target Server is<br />

executed.<br />

When the group resource cannot be activated even after executing a failover as many<br />

times as specified in Failover Threshold, the final action is taken.<br />

� When an error in deactivation of the group resource is detected:<br />

When an error is detected while deactivating the group resource, try deactivating it again.<br />

When the deactivation retry count exceeds the number of times set in Retry Count at<br />

Deactivation Failure, the final action is taken.<br />
