Brian Mason is currently a biology<br />

He has conducted research at the<br />

A Virus Nucleoprotien in Young and<br />

Old Mice through Blockade of an<br />

Immuno-inhibitory pathway.<br />

Charles Owens is a Biology major<br />

at Cheyney University. As an<br />

undergraduate, he is conducting<br />

research on zooplankton in relation<br />

to salinity and location.<br />

COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA (CCP)<br />

Marcella Stokes had shown her<br />

dedication to her country and her career<br />

through her successful completion of<br />

seven years of distinguished military<br />

service only to be followed by an<br />

Associate of Science degree in<br />

Engineering Science at the Community<br />

College of Philadelphia and a Bachelor<br />

of Science degree in Mechanical<br />

Engineering from Drexel University. In her current position<br />

as Project Engineer with the General Services Administration<br />

of the United States Government in the Design and<br />

Construction Division, she provides innovative solutions to<br />

support the mission of the construction and effective,<br />

sustainable, and transparent development of the government<br />

building infrastructure.<br />

Tamika Wilson is another dedicated<br />

student and professional. She graduated<br />

from the Community College of<br />

Philadelphia in 2005 with four<br />

Associate Degrees, including one in<br />

Mathematics and Engineering. She<br />

co-founded a chapter of the National<br />

Society of Black Engineers and<br />

received many awards for her<br />

leadership, hard work and dedication. Tamika proceeded to<br />

immerse herself into a Chemical Engineering program at<br />

Drexel University and merged those skill into a Bachelor of<br />

Science degree in Commerce and Engineering. Tamika’s<br />

research interest included: rheology, biosensors design and<br />

fabrication and viable pathogen detection and quantification.<br />

She is currently a Project Manager at Monnell Chemical<br />

Senses Institute and manages a variety of sensitive research<br />

projects that aim to improve the human condition.<br />

Kianna Richardson graduated from<br />

Community College of Philadelphia<br />

(CCP) with an Associate of Science<br />

and an Associate of Arts in Culture,<br />

Science and Technology with a<br />

concentration in Nutrition in 2009.<br />

Additionally, while serving as<br />

president of the Phi Theta Kappa<br />

Honor Society at CCP, she also worked<br />

for the BTL Foundation which is a charity organization in<br />

Delaware whose mission is to provide, health, job oriented<br />

education, and humanitarian services to the needy in the<br />

United States and India. After graduation, she matriculated to<br />

Drexel University and worked as an intern in the clinical<br />

nutrition department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia,<br />

where she had the opportunity of shadowing a dietitian and<br />

learning patient nutrition intervention strategies. In 2011, she<br />

graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition<br />

(Magna Cum Laude) from Drexel University. Kianna is<br />

presently a participant in the Sodexo Health Care Services<br />

New York /Philadelphia Metropolitan Dietetic Internship<br />

program and endeavors to take on leadership roles in the<br />

community and in nutrition organizations such as the<br />

American Dietetic Association.<br />

Andro-Marc Pierre Louis earned an<br />

Associate of Science degree in both<br />

Mathematics and Computer Science<br />

before matriculating to Temple<br />

University in 2005. He later received<br />

a Bachelor of Science degree in<br />

Chemistry (Cum Laude) and<br />

completed the requirements to become<br />

a Certified Chemist. With support<br />

from the LSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate program, Andro-<br />

Marc successfully matriculated to graduate study at Temple<br />

University and is currently working to complete his Ph.D.<br />

degree in Chemistry.<br />

Bolatito Ajayi attended Community<br />

College of Philadelphia for one year to<br />

strengthen her academic profile before<br />

transferring to Cheyney University in<br />

2004. She later attended Cheyney for<br />

two years and emerged with two<br />

Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology<br />

Chemistry. In 2006, as a recipient of<br />

the prestigious LSAMP Bridge to the<br />

Doctorate fellowship, she was able to matriculate to graduate<br />

study at Delaware State University, where she completed a<br />

Master’s of Science degree in Applied Chemistry in May<br />

2010. Currently, Bolatito is employed as a Quality Control<br />

Laboratory Manager at NanoHorizons Inc.
